why we’re doing this,

Short answer. We’ve been there.

We know what it’s like to be independent artists, trying to level up your work while juggling time, money, and resources.

Now, as a new studio, we know firsthand how hard and expensive it can be to make the jump to a professional look.

We live in a world where video is everywhere -  powerful, accessible, and at the same time, somehow still out of reach for many artists.

We want to change that.

Boston has welcomed us and allowed us to make this city our new home.
Budget Zero is our way of giving something back to the creative community that made that possible.

This project is built for artists with strong talent and a clear vision - even if their budget hasn’t caught up yet.

Budget Zero is our gift to you.

Our goal with every video is simple: do more with less.
We use the resources we have, ask for help from friends when needed, and handle all the technical side with professional gear and experience.

We’re two friends who have been making videos together for over five years, and we’re genuinely excited to launch Budget Zero and collaborate with artists who believe in their work as much as we do.

how it works

  • You apply through the form at the bottom of this page or by clicking Apply Now

    • Applications close on March 26th

    • We review all submissions

    • 3 artists / bands are selected and announced on March 27th

    • We produce one music video per month

    • The shooting order is selected randomly among the selected artists

  • To apply, you’ll be asked for:

    • A short introduction (who you are, your story, your background)

    • One simple sentence on why we should choose you

    • Links to your social media

    • A link to the song you want a music video for

      • Spotify link, or

      • Private YouTube / Drive link if unreleased

    • Email address

    • Phone number

    Age requirement:

    • You must be 18+, or

    • If under 18, a legal guardian must sign a consent/release form and be involved throughout the process

  • One professionally produced music video

    • Creative collaboration with Firebee Studio

    • A finished video ready for release

  • The music video production itself is free.

    If you choose to explore a specific creative direction that requires additional elements — such as a special location, permits, or hiring third parties (actors, stylists, extra crew, etc.) — any related costs will be discussed in advance and only added with your written approval.

    Nothing is added without your consent.
